Many construction errors can be mitigated through one powerful step: peer plan review. The Burgess peer plan review is a thorough review of construction drawings to help identify errors prior to beginning construction. What makes the peer plan review so useful is that it occurs during pre-construction. Errors caught during pre-construction often result in substantial savings of both time and money later down the road.

THE STANDARD PLAN REVIEW PROCESS
Once we receive a set of architectural plans for the project, we'll begin our review. A typical Peer Plan Review for a 300 unit garden style apartment project takes roughly two weeks to complete. Once complete, we'll provide you with an electronically editable document outlining our findings. Next, we'll schedule a conference call with your management team to discuss the findings and answer any questions about our recommendations. At this point, if you've paired the plan review with a Mockup Review, we'll schedule a field meeting with the construction team and key trades to go over correct installation of assemblies, as noted within our Peer Plan Review..
